We are excited to announce that the Greenville Gun Club has an online members-only portal. Administratively, we set up every member to have a username using their badge name (eg tom.smith) and used their email address associated with their membership. Members do not establish a new username; rather you only reset your password to gain access.
The instructions for this are:
Click the green Member Login button
Click “Lost Your Password?” link
On the following page, enter your email address; for example email@example.com Click the “Request Password Reset” button.
Within seconds, you will receive an email with a hotlink, that you click on, to reset your password. Follow those instructions to login. No one at the Club, nor any of the Directors or Officers, can log you in. If you have trouble receiving the email, please make sure @gvlgunclub.com is in your safe sender list or trusted list for your email provider. Secondly, fill out the Contact Us page if you need additional assistance.
Once you login, you will be presented a Member Only screen that is self-explanatory. Three things that are fairly important to do right away: Validate the information in the Edit Profile screen. This way anything we mail you will go to the correct address. This is now how you maintain this instead of contacting the Secretary. Renew your membership for 2020. Renewals are due 12/31 like always. Record your username and password so you can maintain portal access. We will expand the usage of the portal later in 2020.
We are receiving two types of issues when people try to log in. First, it might say no user account found. If you receive this message, please fill out the Contact Us page with the email address you want us to associate with your account. Second, you don’t receive a password reset email. If this happens it typically means the email address we have on file for you is not consistent with the one you are using or there is a typo in our email address or in the one you typed in. Again, please fill out the Contact Us page with the email address you want us to use. We will re-associate your account and the Secretary will send you the “give it another try” email.
Please do not contact the Board or try to call the Secretary. Following the steps above will ensure the fastest service.
