Is the club open to the public?

No, the club is not open to the public except for specific tournaments where membership with a national shooting organization is required.

Can I rent out the range?

No, The Greenville Gun Club cannot be leased or rented. All GGC facilities are for the benefit of GGC members, their families and their guests.

I’m not a member. Can I still visit the club?

No, non-GGC members are not permitted to “test” our facilities.

I represent a third-party organization. Can we use the range for our activities?

No, we do not permit third-party entities to use our ranges or facilities. The club is funded by GGC members and provides shooting sport activities to GGC members only. We are here for the benefit of our members, their families and their guests.

How do I become a member of GGC?

New membership information is found on the New Member page. Please note that from the time you submit a request to be added to the waiting list, it usually takes several months before you will receive an application packet. Once you have submitted your application packet, the membership process can range from 1 to 5 weeks depending on outstanding items.

How many members does GGC have?

The club’s membership remains constant at about 1100 members, mostly from Upstate South Carolina and neighboring states.

How is GGC governed?

A Board of Directors governs operations and consists of a President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer, as well as two Rifle Directors, two Pistol Directors, a Trap Director, a Skeet Director, a 5-stand Director and a Safety Director. Elections are held annually for four positions on a rotating basis. For better continuity, each director may hold his/her position for up to three years.

If I become a member, can my wife visit the range or does she require her own membership?

All memberships are considered family memberships; meaning the primary member, his/her spouse, and any children under the age of 21 may come to the range with the member to use the facilities. Other rules apply; however a spouse does not need their own membership to use the facility.
